Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Meet the Nursery Team

Hello everyone, my name is Miss Smith and I am the Nursery teacher. Early Years education is my passion and it's my job to make sure that everyone who is part of our Nursery family is well looked after (that includes you too parents!), and having exciting lessons and play every day.

Hello everyone, my name is Mrs Reid and I am one of the nursery teachers, who will be with you every Monday and working across Reception too.  I am new to Oasis Hobmoor but I have been teaching for over 10 years, and I am really excited to work with the children and Parents.  My passion is in outdoor learning whatever the weather!

Hello everyone, my name is Ms. Spooner. I am one of the key workers in the Nursery and I work part time.  It is the best part of my day when I come into Nursery and see all the smiling faces. I love caring for the children and I like to make sure the children are happy and having fun!

Hello everyone, my name is Miss Dickinson. I am the Attendance and Admissions officer and it is an integral part of my role to work closely with the Nursery team. I love to ensure that the admissions process runs smoothly and parents have the support needed throughout this process at the start of their Hobmoor journey.  I believe that regular attendance is key to a child settling and thriving in our educational setting.

Hello everyone, my name is Mrs. Tulloch. I am the Early Years Leader and Assistant Principal. I’ve been at the academy for 7 years and throughout that time, I have been involved in the transformation of the EYFS to meet the Oasis vision and Hobmoor’s vision which are the same – Exceptional education at the heart of our community. We have strived to ensure excellence in all that we do and I am delighted that we have been recognised as a best practice school for our outdoor provision.

The importance of Early Years is beyond question and I love spreading teaching and learning at this important and critical stage in a young child’s development. I am also extremely proud to lead the most dedicated, creative, tenacious and talented team of skilled individuals. They offer our youngest children in the academy fabulous opportunities for learning, collaboration, problem solving and fun in a nurturing and loving environment.
